Sarhua Painted Cross Wall Décor
An ancient art form from the area of Sarhua, in the Ayacucho region of Peru, the Sarhua painted logs are a wall art tradition that artist Pompeyo Berrocal and his family have been working on for decades.
Handcrafted and hand painted with local natural pigments featuring different motives. This log in the form of a cross shows pictures of corn and tubers from the area. They can be combined with other Sarhua logs to complete the dècor.
